TRAINING WITH AMY

SKILLS MATTER

Amy has experience working to rehabilitate clients sufferings from chronic back pain caused by spinal issues including degenerative discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and scoliosis. She’s helped those who have undergone hip replacements as well as knee, foot and ankle surgeries return to normal function.

Over the years Amy has worked with hundreds of individuals in all stages of life including young students in their teens, pre- and postnatal mothers, guys of all ages looking to get out of pain and back to doing what they love, and seniors with Parkinson’s looking to stay active and avoid injury.

WHAT AM I GOING TO GET?

As the saying goes, “you get what you put in to it”. Once a week is considered good maintenance. Twice a week you’ll see a change. Three times and you’ll feel invincible. Doing “homework” between sessions will also greatly benefit you and increase your chances of progressing even further than waiting for your next appointment.

Regardless of the frequency, by doing Pilates regularly you will find a restored confidence  in yourself, in your body, and in your ability to do what you most love to do. Training with Amy focuses on awareness, precision, flexibility, and strength. Be assured that you have fun, learn a lot, and leave feeling invigorated and inspired!

ONLINE TRAINING- THE NEW NORMAL

“How could she possibly see that?” – Quote from a client after yet another cue to “quit cheating”

Welcome to the new world, where we WorkOut From Home! You might think training remotely might be difficult and worry you won’t get much out of a session, but you’d be surprised how effective and convenient it is! Just because it’s online doesn’t mean I can’t see just about everything as clearly as if we were in person.

Prior to the pandemic, I had already worked with clients who were traveling remotely, and they appreciated the flexibility it offered them and kept them on track with their training. Once the pandemic made training in person impossible for all of my clients, most of them took the opportunity to continue working with me. So many said they were surprised how easily we were able to transition to working online, and that they appreciated it could be done from home (no more looking for parking!) Plus, guess what – less equipment means you have to work harder! What a bonus!
