FAQ

“How many times a week should I do Pilates?”

This depends on you! We’ll discuss your current injury and fitness level, as well as your personal goals. Based on this (and after a few introductory sessions), we can discuss if one, two, three (or more?) times a week will be best for you. As a good rule of thumb: Once a week is considered good maintenance. Twice a week you’ll see clear improvement. Three times and you’ll feel invincible!

“I have _____ [condition/injury]. Can I train with you?”

Generally this answer is yes, provided a doctor and or PT has given you approval and their recommendations for training are within the scope of my practice. Private training is a great way to rehabilitate while recovering from injuries/work with your specific condition as it can be modified to meet your needs. Please inform me of any restrictions your medical practitioner has stated you follow, as well as what they recommend you strengthen and tone.

“What if I have a buddy who wants to join in the fun?”

While one-on-one is generally the most common way to go, some students are able to pair up with one-to-two others for Duet or Trio/Small Group sessions (including online). It is highly recommended that students start with at least 3 private individual sessions first. Please note is is best that those training together are in a similar place regarding their current fitness level, Pilates experience, and goals.

Will you come to my home?

Short answer is yes! I love working with people in their homes. The long answer is that this is on hold until it is ok to work together in person. A travel fee will apply to cover the time and additional preparation for sessions.
